Heather Cole Gatto has been exploring creativity, yoga, and ceremony throughout her life. She has traveled the world receiving multicultural wisdom while making soul connections. Along with priceless yoga training from Baba Hari Dass, she apprenticed Lee and Brook Atwell at The Yoga Studio in Magnolia.  Her sculpting began in Italy, followed by an apprenticeship under Chuck Iffland. The defining love and support of her teachers, Guru Mata Amritaanandamayi (Amma) and Char Sundust creates the foundation for her life work. Heather has been teaching classes and retreats involving yoga, creativity and ceremony for the past 13 years.

"I liked the combination of yoga, sculpture, and basic shamanic exercises and the way these three areas of her knowledge were skillfully blended, providing a unique opportunity for self-discovery, relaxation and sharing.  I loved the privacy of being surrounded by the woods, making the entire weekend deeply moving and fulfilling at a soul level."  Leslie Kadane

"I learned a deeper understanding of myself, my environment, love of nature and that yes I can let go –dance and create. " - Susan van Altena

"I loved that the inspiration for sculpting came from an emotional and nature connection." - Susan van Altena

“This retreat was a revelation.  I am leaving with a deep and embodies knowledge that creativity is my divinely – inspired birthright!” – Sophie Jane Mortimer

"Early morning forest meditation, sacred singing in the sauna, deep creative exploration and heartfelt connection to the earth and my sisters."

Instructor- Heather Cole Gatto

Heather’s childhood days were filled with nature, creativity, and the influence of her father’s immersion into yoga and meditation. In her 20’s she explored the many spiritual traditions of the world through pilgrimages around the globe. At age twenty-six Heather was ushered onto her soul’s path with a commitment to stone sculpting. Under the apprenticeship of Northwest sculptor Chuck Iffland, she began her lifelong artist’s journey. In her early thirties Heather moved farther along her soul’s path when she committed to an intensive yoga apprenticeship with Lee Atwell and Brook Zwerner, whose teachings are steeped in the wisdom of Baba Hari Dass. Heather has taught a variety of yoga classes ever since. During Heather’s thirty-third year, she met her Guru Mata Amritaanandamayi (Amma) and her other spiritual teacher Char Sundust. Their love and guidance continue to assist Heather in living her life dream as she steps fully into the power of love and authenticity to serve for the highest good. She now calls on her ten years of shamanic training, yoga experience and a lifetime of creative exploration to assist her with psychic readings and soul retrievals, as well as art and spirit retreats. Now in her 40’s, Heather is happily married with a beautiful daughter, Satya, Heather’s prayer is to assist people in opening to and living with the joy of an awakened body, heart and soul.
